These state historic site locations in Council Grove will reopen in 2023. Here in the midst of an international commerce trail, the people of the Kaw Nation were relocated. Hundreds of wagon trains filled with goods to trade with Mexico, and speculators headed to the gold fields passed daily through this community. Be watching for more information about this project.
